Practice Organization & Fees
Direct claims will be submitted to your Medical Aid. Down payment options are also available.
1. Services
Option 1: Private patients
- Consultation fees are charged at R1000.00 for a 51 – 60 min consultation
- Clients will be issued with an invoice via e-mail
Option 2: Medical Aid Patients
- The practice claims the prescribed benefit price from medical aids.
- The practice claims directly from medical aids.
- If you don’t want the practice to claim from your medical aid, do not fill in your medical aid information on the Intake form.
- This option is subject to the availability of funds in the clients savings account and or medical aid benefit schedule for psychological services.
These rates are in line with what medical aids cover for psychological services.
Please note that the responsibility rests on the client to contact their medical aid to enquire
about the benefits their medical aid plan provides for psychological treatment.
2. Psycho-legal and forensic services
Evaluation
- Documentation Review @ R1500/ hour
- Clinical Interview @ R1500/ hour
- Psychological Assessment @ R1500/ hour
- Assessments and consultation conducted within a correctional facility will be charged @ R1500 per hour
Report
Psycho-legal Report – An additional fee is charged for a Psycho-legal report.
Assessments
Assessments e.g. Career guidance, School readiness: R750-00 per session of 60 minutes.
Cancellation of sessions
Sessions scheduled and not cancelled 24 hours before the session, will be charged a cancellation fee.
